Why use PDF to PowerPoint on PDF NOVA
Editable slides
Text is lifted off the page and placed back in text boxes with the original size, weight and colour, so you can change wording without rebuilding slides.
Files stay on your device
Processing happens in your browser. Your document is never uploaded to a server, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.
Processing on your device
PDF to PowerPoint processes your file in your browser on your device. The file is not uploaded for processing. Download the result to keep a permanent copy. Your active PDF is saved locally in this browser for recovery across refreshes. Close Document removes it; recovery expires after 24 hours and is cleaned up when PDF NOVA next opens. Unsaved changes are not restored.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript and Web Workers. The file is read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device.
Are pictures, charts and shapes editable too?
No. Text becomes editable text boxes; pictures, shapes, charts and backgrounds stay together as one picture behind the text. Choose “Exact look” if you only need to present the pages.
Will the fonts match?
Fonts embedded in the PDF are replaced by the closest font installed with PowerPoint (for example Helvetica becomes Arial), so line widths can differ slightly from the original.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are kept as pictures. Run OCR PDF first if you need their text to be editable.
